I couldn't have asked for better treatment, loved every bit of it, was so relaxed by the time i'd finished my treatments, would def recommend, only 1 downside, Uma was trying to deal with phone calls, walk ins, and attending to me at the same time, could certainly do with more staff to help out, overall, i enjoyed my day of pampering.

The gel removal was done by hand using a nail file which was quite painful. As a result when removing the gel that was then applied on top I noticed that a number of my actual nail beds had been filed down too leaving my nails (which are normally very thick and strong), extremely flimsy.

Great thing about Ume is when you book a full-body massage, you get a full-body ie arms and abdomen are included, which not many therapists do.
I wanted to try Shiatsu as I have never had this type of massage before, but turns out it is not that different to other massage styles.
The salon seems a bit run down, so it is hard to tell how clean it is in places.
