Excellent service, friendly knowledgable staff. I had my eyebrows threaded an was slightly anxious due to having a couple of recent bad experiences at other salons. I was introduced to kiana who was extremely friendly she showed me to a lovely side room with playing wonderfully relaxing music I was immediately at ease we discussed what I wanted and she proceeded I felt no pain an was totally relaxed. My eyebrows are now beautiful again as all women know a bad eyebrow day is a bad day I now know I will never had another bad eyebrow day as I will continue to go to flash.
I LOVE THIS SALON! I am a regular at flash and have many different treatments all great quality and reasonably priced.. I have found the staff incredibly friendly
They tried to rip me off, thinking I did not understand their Vietnamese. Not to mention the unprofessionalism and miscommunication.
So I walked in asking for gel french nails. The girl at the front said a full set was £25. I said fine and sat down to get my nails done. I knew there was some miscommunication when the lady doing my nails asked what colour I wanted. I repeated that I wanted gel french nails. She said, "French tips?" I said, yes. She said that's an extra £5. I said yes, I know it's £25.
Her Vietnamese colleague came up to her during the process and said to her in Vietnamese, "that's £20, okay?" The lady doing my nails replied in Vietnamese, "She already accepted £25". They thought I did not understand.
I thought, hang on, if I'm going to be ripped off by £5 I want to at least know I'm getting exactly what I asked for. I turned to the colleague and said in English, "I'm getting the gel french nails, right?"
Then there was a whole conversation/argument about what "gel" meant. She tried to convince me that I asked for Shellac, as sometimes people think gel means shellac, and both Shellac and gel were £25.
The miscommunication is fine, I don't normally get upset over that. But to try and rip me off, give me something I did not ask for, AND have an argument with me about it was enough. So I walked out.
Very unprofessional. The Wahanda website shows they normally charge £20 NOT £25 for Shellac. Opportunistists, dishonest people.
