Appointment was cancelled on my arrival at the salon due to a double booking. I was pretty disappointed at the time as I wasn't feeling particularly well. Treatwell managed to call me 15 minutes before the apppointment was due, but I was just arriving into the town so continued on to the salon. The salon advised that they had tried to call (no missed calls on my phone, no messages) and a cacellation email (none received in inbox or junk mail.) My details I gave are correct. Staff seemed friendly and were very apologetic, but I suggest that the relationship and process of bookings between treatwell and the salon needs sorting out.....there's a significant lack of communication the two are clearly not working in unison.
I have booked directly through the salon for this week and hope it's worth my effort. I don't think I will use treatwell again.
Staff were nice and the therapist who did my massage seemed very experienced and asked the right questions beforehand. My initial welcome to the therapy rooms could have been a little more welcoming by the lady on reception. I didn't think the ambience during my massage was the best I've experienced, there was music playing and a candle lit but there was some noise outside the room which was a bit distracting at times. Overall though I really enjoyed my massage, it was just what I needed.
