I’m leaving this review on behalf of my partner, who went for a Beard Trimming and Shaving this morning. I made him discover the salon because I’m a regular at the Lab 260 hairdresser and I wanted him to have a nice men-focused barber experience. Although he met Nick before, this time the result was disastrous. The barber didn’t listen to what he wanted, said he remembered the trim of the previous time and went on shaving it all off. At the end, when my partner said that it was not what he asked, the barber said “ah I now remember you and how you wanted your beard”. I can easily say that if this was to happen to a girl at a hairdresser, we would easily pull a tantrum. My partner left without commenting (there’s little you can do when the beard you’ve been growing for over two months gets all shaved off!!) but when he got home he had to tidy it all up, because there were patches and untidy shave lines. This is not ok. I understand that on Sundays people may prefer to be at home chilling, but that’s not a good reason to do a poor job and not listen to your clients’s requests. We are both very disappointed.
