my hairdresser/s had great knowledge of blond highlights and toner (my blonde needed fixing from a dodgy previous job elsewhere). they listened to all my requests and did exactly as I requested with my style and cut.

I chose those place cause it had the highest ratings and great reviews however I left feeling confused. I arrived early for my appointment so was prepared to wait but when I arrived both the man who I presume is the owner and a woman looked incredible confused and checked their computer as if they were not prepared for an appointment at the time I said mine was. I was then sat to wait 20 minutes past my appointment time and never once offered a coffee tea or water despite their boasting of a “cafe bar” and despite a woman getting her hair died being brought fresh tea. The WiFi and also my mobile service were not working despite being told there as Wi-fi which was odd and inconvenient as I was needing to coordinate for a dinner meet up that night (Saturday at 4pm) and also wanted to show the hair dresser photos from Pinterest as reference to which he was frustrated that I didn’t have anything to show him when it was the establishments fault. I was asking for a simple cut any way so though it would be fine just a short angle cut, and I’m also really easily. My hair was washed and I was walked back out to sit in the chair right by the front door where there was a draft (in the dead of winter...), I sat with a wet head for 10 min before the guy finished cutting some other guys hair who also sounded unhappy with his cut and then he came back over to me. He then cut my hair uneven and kept trying to talk over me to explain why, I finally asked him to just make each side even and he seemed like it was so difficult, he kept stopping during the cut to either tend to someone else’s hair or explain to people coming in that he’s running late even stoping to go into the back and give someone a gift of a bread maker or some appliance, it was random. He just seemed really unfocused and like I was in the way. At one point he took off the bib and told me to stand up and bend over the chair and was just like air chopping my hair, not guiding it with his hands or anything, I felt really uncomfortable. I still tipped because I don’t believe in not, but I ended up going home upset and evening out the cut myself. Really disappointed. I’d say don’t book here but if you were going to, book someone specific who’s been referred personally.
