I booked the luxurious OPI manicure which for me would imply hard skin removal, some sort of application of cremes, maybe a little foot massage and then getting the nails done. This however was just a nails only pedicure. Which to be fair was well done but on one of the toes the paint starting chipping after 2 days already. The place is downstairs in the basement of a hairdresser and it just doesnt have much of an relaxing or nice athmosphere. The girl itself was very lovely and we had a nice chat but I'm just disappointed with the pedicure I received as there was definitely nothing luxurious about it and there was no hard skin removal. Next time I'll go back to the woman in cutting edge that does a pedicure for the same price but you just get so much more and who cares if she only takes cash. All in all a nice lady but the service was very disappointing as I can do my nails myself but wanted to treat myself a little bit so I was disappointed with the service I received
I had made a lunchtime appointment as I was busy after work already and so this was the convenient time for me. Unfortunately, due to a system/staff booking error at the salon which Csilla works in my appointment time was double booked. And those at the salon who had booked the other person in hadn't taken a contact number for the other person, so I was called instead to see if my time could be moved. Csilla was professional and very apologetic and offered other treatment times. I selected a 4:30pm appointment. Not ideal but all I could do as I needed my nail appointment that same day. This did mean that I had to leave work early with the plan to go back afterwards to do more work then leave for my evening plans. As it happened when I arrived at the salon the previous client was only mid way through her nail appointment so I didn't get my appointment started until about 4:50pm. This meant I could not go back to work to do more time to make up for me having this appointment moved as I then had to rush off to my evening plans.
The manicure itself was done wall and Csilla was very helpful in making sure I had everything ready for when I left out before my nails were painted so I didn't end up scuffing them. The manicure lasted less than a week and was chipped on the 2nd day, though this may be more done to me not being careful/product not having a very good longevity rather than the manicure itself. I would go again, and hopefully the scheduling issue won't occur a second time.
I forgot the time of my appointment so was 30 minutes late but Csilla still made the effort to fit both my shellac mani and pedi into 45 mins which I was so grateful for! It is extra efforts like this that really make a difference, and I really appreciated it. In addition to this, the quality of my mani and pedi was very high and exceptionally good value for shellac as well. I will definitely be returning (but this time at the correct time!)
