Eyelash tint and gel nails were conducted in timely manner and had the desired outcome, but I was disappointed in the pedicure. Firstly the pedicure massage chair wasn't working, but I wasn't offered the alternate, nor told it wasn't working, just when I was asked I was told it was broken. The pedicure itself was fine, it took a long time, a lot longer than normal, but I put that down to attention to detail. The problem was the painting. It was pretty shocking. I had a glitter polish because there was no white or pale summer colours available, it was my birthday so I went for glitter but it was put on so thick, it didn't dry. I was sat under the dryer for 15mins, and they still weren't dry that's how thick it was, I told the lady who had painted them, and that it actually looked like it was sliding off the nail, so she redid that toe, but again laid it on thick, despite me saying it should be thinner. Another 20mins under the dryer and they were dry to an initial touch, but I got home (a 10min walk) and it was clear they were'n't fully dry and set, for my birthday I had smudged big toes which wasn't nice. The paint was also so thick it chipped off, the whole of one of my toes, it came off in a pretty thick clump, showing it was just applied far too thick to even hold properly.
I'd also recommend improving the ambience of the venue. There was no music or atmosphere in the place, it wasn't lively or a fun environment which you usually get with these salons, especially because they weren't short of customers. So music, or a TV, magazines, anything they could offer as entertainment would be recommended.
I'd advise not getting any glitter polish at this place, and go if you had time. I had three treatments and was in there for nearly 21/2 hours, it was too long.
