My first spray tan ever. They kept me waiting for 15 min because the girl who was supposed to do it had never given a spray tan before so was too nervous and didn’t want to do it, I was told. From that my confidence levels bottomed out. They supplied the paper thing, hair net and sticky feet. So that was at least good. The room where the tent is set up is vey very dark so you can’t get an accurate indication of any missed bits or darkness etc. There was no air coming through the room and it felt stuffy and like I was breathing in all the chemical, which when I blew my nose later, I absolutely was.
The treatment time says 40 minutes but they only spent about 20minutes with me max. When she checked the tan, you couldn’t see anything because of the dim lighting and so it wasn’t until I left I noticed missed areas on the side of my wrist/arms and legs.
There was no air in the room so I was given a hair dryer to dry the chemical. Is this normal?!But no cold setting on the dryer so I found myself feeling sweaty and obviously that would affect the tan.
I got home and had patchy tan in my neck and chest. I wish the room was air conditioned to the tan could have dryer and I wouldn’t have sweated.
It was my first time but I really don’t think all spray tan experiences would be like this? It was the cheapest at £20 full body.
In the end it has mostly worked out but I won’t be getting another pray from here.
I had the Sienna X spray tan which is a treatment I’d had done at another salon previously. This time while the lady was very nice, I had to tell her where she had missed bits after being told it was done (both sides of my face and a huge patch on my knee and hand). It’s only when I left the salon that I also realised my hands and feet were two tone. It was obvious I’d had a fake tan which is exactly the look you don’t want. At my last spray tan the clinician had made sure these marks weren’t visible and even told me to move the paper knicker string for her to spray so I didn’t get a white tan line around my waist like I have ended up with this time. I was told to leave the tan on for 12hrs overnight before showering, by the morning I was bright orange and alarmed at my colour (even my sister said how orange I was). The tan has also faded very badly and left me with tiger marks despite exfoliating (again this didn’t happen last time). Would not recommend and definitely won’t be going there again
When I arrived, I was informed the prices had increased and was shown the new price chart. These prices were higher than the prices I had booked for using Treatwell. Of course I paid the higher prices but found it very unprofessional that the prices haven't been updated on Treatwell.
