Nice salon and lovely staff but the actual wax wasn't brilliant.
Disgusted! Had my eyebrows done and they was all cut up. Complained and had NO response from the manager or company! Eyebrows should be free for the quality they give. Never going back again.
Not so happy
It wasn't very clean and the pedicure chairs were broken which made them uncomfortable. The pedicure was good though, I am pleased with the results.
The short version is- If you need a wax DO NOT BOOK HERE. For those who would like further details, please read on. It's rare that I take issue with a service I have purchased, and this is the first negative review I have given on Treatwell/Wahanda. The beauty room at Bhavi beauty where the wax took place was filthy. To the point that I considered leaving prior to the wax taking place. If I could have awarded it 0 stars I would have. I took pictures as evidence. The floor was covered in bits and the walls were dirty. The lady who arrived to wax me seemed pleasant, so I decided to continue. I wish I hadn't. It was the most painful wax I have received, I've been having waxes for 9 years and had this been my first wax I would NEVER consider getting another one. I considered stopping mid wax, but persevered. (The beauty therapist even commented on the fact I was sweating and shaking.) For a whole Hollywood wax on 6+ weeks of regrowth the whole procedure took 8 minutes, this was not efficient, but rushed. Once the ordeal was over, I left still covered in wax. And couldn't bear to inspect myself for a good hour after being home, from still being sore. There are multiple hairs left, in small but clearly visible patches. Not in hard to reach places- on my upper thigh and smack bang on the pelvic bone. I'm not normally squeamish about plucking any strays myself, but there are far more than one or two so I'll have to shave. Which entirely defeats the object of getting a wax in the first place. Ordinarily I'd complain to the salon/ request a tidy up. But I would NEVER return to that salon again, and would strongly urge Treatwell to consider who they are advertising. Upon inspecting myself again this morning. I have scalded reg angry patches of skin, which I have photographed and sent to Treatwell. I hope this review deters anyone considering a wax from Bhavi Beauty.
