It was a good wax, unfortunately marred by the fact that 75% of the way through I realised that my therapist was redipping the waxing stick every time after she used it on my skin -- and with a Brazilian wax, that cannot have been hygienic! I wasn't sure what to do as by that time we were nearly done with my legs. However, thinking about the kind of bacteria that could therefore be in that waxing pot has made me leery of contracting some kind of skin infection. I don't know if that's common practice, but it has certainly made me think twice about going back.
Also, it seemed a little mean that I was charged an extra £5 for waxing a few hairs off my stomach, especially as I've never been charged extra anywhere else for what amounts to about 3 extra strips of wax during a Brazilian. Perhaps it's just policy, but if so I would like to be told in the room instead of after the fact when I'm handed the bill.
