Firstly they weren’t open when I arrived so had to wait around 20 mins from when I had booked until my treatment actually started. I had time so didn’t mind but they weren’t very apologetic about it. The place is clearly being refurbished so there are lots of holes in the walls and wires hanging out. I was quite concerned about the cleanliness - it was quite dirty on the floors and surfaces and I didn’t see the tools being sanitised. There was no ambience. The door was left open so it was freezing and cigarette smoke was blowing in from outside - it wasn’t pleasant. My manicurist didn’t try to make any conversation. She did a good job on the actual mani/pedi and for what I paid (with the new salon discount) it was decent value for a central London salon. However I certainly wouldn’t pay full price. If you’re looking for an inexpensive mani/pedi and don’t mind about the atmosphere then it’s fine. For anyone wanting to enjoy the treatment, this isn’t the place for you.
The salon upstairs where they do nails is nice, I got taken downstairs for my threading through a door of another shop selling e-cigarettes, the downstairs was a bit grubby and smelt of food. The threading was ok and the lady was nice, it’s cheap so I guess they need to save cost on the surroundings.
