With 25 years of hairdressing experience, expert Creative Director and colourist Thierry is up there with champagne as one of France’s finest exports. He trained for five years at the Maison Dessange and L’Oréal Paris before moving to London in 2006. He specialises in colouring techniques, highlights, balayage, and only taking an inch off when you ask for it!

Elkin’s passion for hairdressing started from a very young age when helping in his local hair salon. With his 23 years of experience as an international hairstylist, working in places such as Columbia, Madrid and London, he is an expert in balayage & colour, precision haircuts and colour correction.

Ivan, who is originally from Sicily, has been a hair artist for over fifteen years. He began his hairdressing career in Catania, then moved to Milan, and finally to London in 2014. Ivan has worked in Soho, Chelsea, and managed a high-end hair salon in South Kensington for five years prior to joining Le Chapeau Cloche. He specialises in colour but also has a thing for bold short scissor cuts!

Le Chapeau Cloche is a gender-neutral & green hair salon based in the heart of Angel, Islington. It was founded in 2019 by Thierry Benavides, expert hair stylist & colourist with over 25 years of experience who surrounded himself with a talented and friendly team.
It is also home to "Au Chapeau" café & cocktail bar.
Sit back, enjoy a barista coffee or one of our handcrafted cocktails and escape from reality in our 1920’s inspired interior while we look after your hair.
We are proud to team up with Oway, a luxury, biodynamic, organic, fairtrade brand that uses non-toxic ingredients and helped us reduce our plastic use by 99%!
By introducing our gender-neutral hair menu, we are offering fair pricing for all which is purely based on the length and thickness of your hair as well as the result wanted.
