Dishonest, led me to believe that treatwell had not processed my discount code so asked me to pay an extra £10. When I tried to call treatwell whilst at the salon before the service, the lady said I could do so after as she was doing my nails and because the boss had already spoken to treatwell who would refund me for the £10. When I went home and called treatwell, I was informed that the £10 was for the shellac on my nails and that the salon had made me aware of this, which they didn't. Moreover when I walked in, I specifically asked to have the treatment that I had paid for beforehand to be done and nothing else. The nail artist Lien insisted on me doing white shellac on my nails to match my feet instead of the other colour I'd asked for. I was eventually persuaded but the white shellac is not well and evenly painted, started staining within 6 hours of me walking out of the salon and is already chipped. The nails are also different shapes on the thumbs (if I could post pictures I would show all of this)
Overall I'm really overwhelmed by the dishonesty, being misled and the disrespect; as well as the shellac which is a mess. The only reason why I'm giving 3* for the staff is because the other nail artist (not Lien) was very friendly and had great customer service
Super quick application and great end result. My only negative would be the use of the electric file to file the nail bed pre application. I have failrly thin nails and would have preferred that step not be done. Perhaps asking first if a customer is happy for them to be filed as a suggestion. Otherwise service was fab.
