Not great! 🙄
Not informed until arrival that sauna not working. Not by Treatwell, or Mercure, or Spa Naturel who all emailed me to confirm booking! We went there FOR the sauna/steam! Not happy, the treatments were great but not very relaxing for one of us who had the gym equipment clanging throughout hers! The steam room was ok but did not need to have two off duty staff openly discussing dislike of colleagues in front of paying guests! Awkward. We weren't shown through the place just left to get on with it, not very organised, poor customer experience continued with the afternoon tea. Wafer thin ham might as well not have been added, the salmon and cream cheese tasted off and the cakes looked lovely but were stale and soggy, possibly frozen and thawed out, and only one tiny pot of cream between two people? Poor Afternoon Tea experience, no sauna, I suggest save your money and just have the treatments, but then what's the point of going to a Spa then? 🙄
Nice stay and relaxing message, great value. There was an issue that we hadn't been booked in for our spa treatment as promised, but the friendly staff sorted it out no problem. Facilities were all clean and in good condition.
Staff are wonderful, treatments were so relaxing and lunch was good. Floors around the showers could be cleaner though. My daughter and I had a lovely indulgent day.
