In the end I was quite happy with the massage but when I arrived I felt really uncomfortable because the staff didn't speak English very well and Treatwell had assigned me to an unqualified employee. She said to me that she had no idea what to do because she's not a qualified masseuse but that if I told what I wanted she'd give it a go. I didn't like that so asked for a qualified employee and thankfully one was available. The treatment in the end was really good but I don't feel I'd come back because of this strange situation.
I booked a 15min appointment and it was pre-paid, but they didn't expect me at all. The receptionist shouted over for her boss to clear things up, and no one knew what they were doing. The boss never came out from the back room to explain to me that her Treatwell app did not receive my booking. Eventually I had my massage - by the receptionist, of all people. She said her boss was "busy". She wasn't wearing appropriate attire, and had long fake nails and her watch and bracelet constantly grazed against me. The massage itself was awkward, and I don't think she had any credentials as a masseuse. It was an overall bad experience, and I regret giving them the benefit of the doubt.
