Having recently moved into the area I was looking to find a local place where I could have a regular massage, I did my research and decided to give Life spa a try. The only downsides to the experience is that you have to walk through a petrol station to get there but having been to Life spa a few times now, that's something you get used to and eventually forget about. Also the facilities are quite small but then you can also see that as cosy! I have so far had nothing but good experiences, I am always seen to promptly, I have received the most relaxing massages I've ever had by a very competent, warm and friendly therapist who always tailors the massage to my current needs, and at the end I am always brought my favourite tea which I sit and drink in their 'relaxation room' which is just a small space with 3 chairs, very eastern inspired decor (which I am obsessed with!), relaxing music and some wellness literature. I absolutely love having my downtime in that room after my treatment and have so far always come out of Lifespa floating on air. I highly recommend Lisa for massage.
My girlfriend and I recently came to Lifespa unexpectedly as we had a day off together when I moved into my new flat. We thought we would go out for lunch and explore my new town so stumbled across the spa as we headed towards the restaurant. We enquired as to whether they had any space for treatments later on that afternoon as the place just looked so inviting! The receptionist said the only time they had was right then and there as the afternoon was fully booked, so we decided to forgo lunch and have pamper time instead!! Thank goodness for spontaneity.....! We had the most amazing time, the place is so wam and cosy and although its in an unusual location (a petrol station) once your inside you could be in Thailand. My therapist was so professional and so thorough, she explained everything she was doing and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole treatment and her massage was the best i've ever had anywhere. During the facial I fell fast asleep I put that down to due to humping heavy boxes in the flat move! All in all our time there was so special and my friend and I have decided we're going to visit once a month - she's really jealous I have it on my doorstep! Thank-you Lifespa for making me feel welcome in my new area and I got some great advice on all the local hotspots too. I rate this business ten out of ten we loved it!
Lovely staff put me at ease. Waxing was almost painfree thanks to therapist. Spa was very easy to find and very relaxing once inside.
