Went in for a Shelac gel removal and manicure. A treatment that normally lasts one hour in my regular nail salon, was now completed in 40 minutes. Whilst the end results was satisfactory (the colour was applied well), I did have to file my own nails afterwards as the technician did a rush job and my nails were not even or the same shape. Also a few chips and tears were noticeable.
I was not made to feel welcome, the complimentary drink advertised was not offered and the technician took more notice of her colleagues than her client.
I am looking for an alternative to my current salon as I will be changing jobs and the location will no longer be convenient, but Lilly's Nails will not be it.
Having visited Lilly's Nails for many years it was great to see that the salon has been refurbished. Although the salon is always very busy, and used to run on a walk in service, it is much more efficient and time saving to now be able to pre-book through Treatwell. The pedicure and manicure I received were well done, looked great and took around an hour and 10 mins to complete. They also offer a loyalty card service which is another bonus to the customers. The salon used to supply lots of magazines to read during your treatment, however, this was not the case on my last visit and I missed catching up on the latest gossip/fashion etc.
