The appointment was approx 10 minutes late. The technician was friendly and I was initially happy with my shellac, but once I left I noticed some attention to detail was lacking. The cuticles weren’t pushed back enough - after 4 days you could see significant growth. The edges of the nails weren’t covered very precisely (can see the natural nail colour when inspecting the tips) and after just over a week, one has chipped because of this :(
This place is the worst nail salon I have been to in London. I have been many times as it is only 1min away from my flat and each time left me disappointed. My flatmate agrees. You can be sure that you will wait 15-20 mins, at the very least, as they never refuse walk-ins and completely disregard their online bookings. They barely acknowledge you when you enter the salon. Every single time I have to scream “hello” 2 or 3 times before they decide to look at me. Rude people and mediocre service
They did a decent job, though I was charged £15 extra on the day for things that my usual salon (who was fully booked that day) doesn’t charge for. I didn’t mind so much, as I agreed to it when they asked first, but I ended up spending £80 altogether on a gel mani and normal pedi. As they explained, it’s cheaper if you pay in salon and not on Treatwell, but even still - because of the super expensive price I paid on my first visit I wouldn’t go back.
Was left for ages under the drier. Almost zero chat but maybe that’s normal for nail bars? I’m not a regular
Lily did a great job on my brows and lashes (no stinging!), colour is just right - I will come here again.
