Relaxing day with a couple of hiccups...... lunch service took an hour and ten minutes even though the restaurant was very quiet and the spa manager knocking loudly on my treatment room door when I was trying to enjoy my facial was totally unacceptable.
We did the £25.00 spa day offer which was exceptionally good value. We went to the hotel restaurant for lunch in our robes which made everything easier and the food was excellent as well.
My only criticism would be the loungers by the pool were a little uncomfortable to be in for a long period - there was one option for a more comfortable one.
The relaxation room was great.
It is in an nice area and had great parking facilities. We would visit again!
Clean and up to date, good staff members who were very helpful. Great value for money and convenient to get to, if it got a little busy the pool would be very loud because of acoustics but otherwise great.
Very nice but swimming pool was cold.
After 3 o’clock it got very loud in pool so couldn’t relax in the relaxation room or go to sleep. Didn’t really understand the ice founatain? The amora shower was ok but would of expected different amora smells?
Now the changing rooms- found it very awkward I’m happy to change in front of my parter and bare all but to change in front of a complete stranger is very awkward. I had a shower and then went into the toilet to dress and dry.
The treatment we paid for was not what we received so this was v disappointing. The hotel apologised & said it was due to ‘Spa Days’ misrepresentation of the treatment. We were given a free drink to try & compensate for our disappointment but that said we still didn’t get the treatment advertised & paid for. We still enjoyed ourselves & the afternoon tea was lovely
