Great day!really enjoyed. The only thing I would say is what a shame pool area doesn't overlook the outside.... But you can't have everything. Afternoon tea there was lovely
My daughter and I booked this spa day through lastminute.com and added one extra treatment each. However when we arrived the extra treatment hadn't been booked and no appointments were available. We weren't very happy with this but the receptionist said if we wanted to swap one of the treatments for another we could. We both had a facial instead of the manicure or pedicure included in the package. It was excellent just like the other treatments. Unfortunately, the spa facilities weren't up to scratch. No individual changing rooms so had to change in communal which neither my daughter or I like (she's 25 and I'm 62 so it's not an age thing). Only 6 loungers by the pool, all of which were occupied all day so we had to sit on two upright chairs which was far from ideal on a 'relaxing' day. The quiet room had only 2 beds and a fairly uncomfortable bench so the first time we went in there was no room, 2nd time I had to sit on the bench until somebody went out. We didn't feel the facilities came any where near the standard of the treatments. Restaurant was nice but the included lunch was rather limited and offered a couple of choices and a lot of jacket potato combos. The staff were all very professional and friendly. A good day but could have been so much better.
I had a great day with my daughter. The facilities were lovely and clean. It had a very relaxing atmosphere and the spa treatment was divine. I really couldn't fault it. I would definitely visit the spa again. We had our treatment side by side which meant we could spend the whole time together. We had afternoon tea later in the restaurant - not part of the spa deal but lovely all the same - although another half a round of sandwiches and one less cake would have been better. Back to the gym I think!
Beautiful hotel, spa is fantastic and treatments were great. Lovely relaxation rooms kitted out with an array of complimentary herbal teas. Great value for money. I would not hesitate to go back.
It was okay; staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. I had to work out a lot for myself. The facilities are starting to show signs of wear and tear. Wasnt awful but I wont be back.
