Had a great experience at Lipstick and Gunpowder. It's open, friendly and completely unpretentious. It's quite small so you do end up in one big conversation with other stylists and customers which you'll either love or hate. I loved my cut. I felt listened to and understood and whilst the creative recommendation came from my stylist I felt I got a cut that reflected me not just him.
This is a small salon with a big personality!
Ladies' Haircuts
I really enjoyed getting my haircut at Lipstick and Gunpowder. The staff were sweet and friendly, the coffee provided was proper espresso and not instant, and Darren (who did my haircut) was great. He listened to exactly what I wanted and was really nice to chat to, but didn't take offence at me being antisocial and leafing through the magazines! Would definitely go back. Great value for money too.
