I think I booked at an unfortunate time as Dahab was in the process of moving to a new salon so everything felt a bit all over the place. However the treatment I received was lovely. The room was a little tight and I'm not sure how relaxed I was due to the noise from the street, but overall the facial was great and I'd book in again but only maybe if it was back at the old location.
When I booked my massage, I booked as I was under the impression I had booked a treatment at a home salon. However, on the day itself Dahab messaged me to say she opened a new salon at Brixton street. When I got there , I immediately noticed how hot the little room was and how much noise there was from outside. I had an hour treatment but just couldn’t relax because there was so many noises from outside (people talking, cars, loud music etc) . I raised these issues with her and I could tell she was trying to make me more comfortable. Dahab is very skilled but getting a massage at her new salon at the busy Brixton street just isn’t pleasant... I hate writing this review as she is lovely and very skilled and I hate leaving bad feedback for a local entrepreneur. Dahab offered me a free face massage and skin treatment to make up for it which I accepted. If you want to book a massage: ask if you can come to her house. It’s worth it, the treatment is good in itself, but the salon just not great.
Dahab made me feel very relaxed. Clean room, nice scent. Excellent microdermabrasion. She followed every step of the process and didn’t skip any like some other places!!
