As per , amazing hair dresser no matter who it is .. always keen to understand your ideas . great hair cut every time, my flat mate just went for the first time and she is as happy .
This was the second time I have visited Gro Brixton and I was equally as impressed as the first time. Very friendly, professional and helpful. Would highly recommend!
I was really impressed with Gro Brixton. There had been a mix up with appointments that day, and due to the delay in my haircut the team threw in a complimentary moisturising treatment while I waited - a very generous gesture which made a big difference. Really like my hairdresser and am pleased with my cut.
The experience overall was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful, the salon clean, suitably funky and I was welcomed with coffee by a very accommodating receptionist. My stylist had a quick chat with me and seemed to understand what I was after although when it came to the actual haircut it did feel quite rushed, my hairdresser clearly had another client waiting and even through she was amazingly pleasant, I felt that for £60 I could have done without feeling quite so rushed through. Hands up, I had been caught up in traffic on the bus and was therefore ten or so minutes late, so it was most likely my fault. However I was after quite a simple cut, had it had been any more complicated and even if I’d been on time, we would have run into issues. Possibly don’t schedule the appointments quite so close together? There was a lot of ‘recommending’ of products and extra treatments, I did get a treatment (£15) although drew the line at paying £30 for tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I’m wasn’t particularly worried about this though, as I am aware that all salons push products and it just goes with the territory.
All in all I was very happy, the girl that blow dried my hair did beautiful job and the cut was what I had asked for. I will be back.
