I booked a last minute opalex treatment. When I arrived I was told the stylist was ill and would not be coming in and that they would try to find a replacement for me. The receptionist was not particularly apologetic and I felt like I was a burden on her. My hair conditioning treatment was eventually carried out by a very junior member of staff (not a stylist). She was pleasant and friendly but did not appear to know what she was doing (this is not her fault as it appears she was asked to do it at the last minute) she was guided by a senior member of staff who was also dealing with someone else’s hair. They applied the opalex treatment to my hair - it was only for around ten minutes. I am not sure what else she applied on my hair but I don’t think it was opalex but the normal shampoo and conditioning. I had read someone where that the time for the in salon opealex treatment would last longer and there was a part 1 and 2 but this seemed rush and I am not confident they did a proper job. No explanation was provided and I felt that the salon was not bothered with me because I was on a last minute special deal. Although my hair felt in better condition when I left the salon 2 days later my hair was back in its originally dry condition which makes me think the opalex was not applied properly/ long enough. I will never go back to this hair salon again.
