Good cut from Andreea - though ambience a little spoilt by unbearable noise from broken speakers. The salon is also quite hard to find, not great sign-posting and staff not hugely helpful when I phoned lost. Got there in the end though, nice salon and a good haircut - also v good value with the Wahanda deal.

I had a slightly disappointing experience at Gro. My stylist was nice and welcoming but I got the impression she was quite inexperienced. I asked for my haircut to be all one length. However, rather than cutting my hair in my usual side parting she cut it with a middle parting and then flipped it over when dry - this led to a lopsided layered effect. I queried her approach on a number of occasions but she assured me it was going to be fine. I got the distinct impression she had only learnt how to cut hair with a middle parting! She also asked me if I wanted some body in my hair. I said yes but then she proceeded to straighten it with hair straighteners. So, overall I didn't feel like I had the experience I was after. If I went back I would certainly go for a more experienced member of staff.

Friendly , good haircut, understood what I wanted and listened to me( sounds obvious but I often seem to have people try to tell me what I want rather than listen so I was very happy to be heard at gro Vauxhall!)

Managed to get a Sunday appointment at short notice and was able to turn up an hour early to fit it in around some changes in my day.
Everyone was friendly and was worked away at my hair quickly. There was the right amount of friendly chat without getting annoying. My hair cut was fantastic and just what I asked for.
