I was disappointed with my treatment overall. I had booked a Swedish back, neck and shoulder massage and expected to be asked how I wanted my massage/ how I was feeling e.g relaxing, invigorating etc. I wasn't. When I was ready the therapist came in the room and asked if I was comfortable. When I said yes she put the oil straight on my back - she shook it straight from the bottle ( no warming in her hands). I was at no point asked if the pressure of the massage was ok. At the end of the massage without warning the therapist quite abruptly asked if it had been ok. I said yes as was relaxed at this point. She explained there was water outside when I was ready and then left me to get sorted. She didn't cover my back with the towel so I was cold after the treatment and when I came out and spoke to my friend who had had the same treatment she asked how I enjoyed the massage on the top of my arms and the pressure on the legs at the end of the massage. I hadn't had any of tht ( and it's what Im used to at the end of a massage). When I came to pay the price was in fact more than had been advertised on the website. Ok only by £2 per treatment but still, more than I had expected to pay. Fortunately my friend ( whose birthday treat this was) had a much better experience.
The treatment room were clean, stylish and relaxing and the massage in it's self fab!
and didn't want it to end. Myself & a friend booked a few treatments and used the clubs facilities for the whole day. When booking the vouchers online I found there was gaps between mine and my friends appointments meaning one if us would be having a treatment and the other lounging on our own which is not what I wanted. I called the club and they rearranged our appointments on their system meaning we we were both having treatments at the same time in seperate rooms and could then enjoy the rest of the club together. The staff were great and we are looking at booking again in December
The staff at the well being health club we're fab, they were all friendly & very helpful as this was our first visit. The treatment room was stylish, clean and extremely relaxing. Myself & my friend made a day out it using the clubs whole facilities sauna, steam room, jacuzzi & swimming pool. The facial it's self was amazing! and you are able to purchase the products used. The only not major but slightly disappointing thing was we want to indulge in afternoon tea which looked to die for but wasn't told you had to pre book this as they only do so many a day. Also if your treatments don't include a robe u can loan one from reception for £5 each.
Really enjoyable, relaxing experience. The massage and facial were amazing and the staff were lovely which made for a very pleasant visit. The only downside would be the group of young (ish) men playing around in the swimming pool, dive bombing and causing a lot of noise, which was a bit intimidating. But overall a lovely experience.
