A really pleasant experience, facilities were good, rooms were superb, with beautiful views over the golf course.
The treatments my wife had were superb.
The food was excellent, but the service was not. Although the restaurant was full on the evening we stayed, it seemed as though they couldn't cope, everyone had to wait ages for everything. They reallly need to look at how they manage the service in the restaurant.
Overall a relaxing and pleasant experience.
The food was excellent although I agree the restaurant area decor and layout is quite old fashioned. I love that you can use the spa area up until 2pm on the day you are checking out as it is real value for money on a one night spa break
the place was really nice and the the spa was lovely. really nice rooms that over looked golf course and the food was lovely little bit on the pricey side also drinks were not that cheep either but still lovely with friendly staff nice town near by would go there again
Our room was enormous with a great view of the golf course. Staff very helpful and friendly and the food in the restaurant in the evening was excellent as were the spa facilities.
Two slight downsides were that the gym is not open to hotel guests, only to private members. I feel it should be made very clear on the website that you are not allowed to use the gym. Also, the breakfast was disappointing after the evening meal had been so good.
the main bar/dining area of the hotel is very out dated and all needs a redec, also very cramped in in the restaurant. spa was nice large jacuzzi large swimming pool sauna and steam rooms all very nice, the room was lovely (despite it not being ready untill 3.20 in the afternoon) nice balcony twin double beds large tv water, tea, coffee ect nice bathroom, my main gripe would be the £75 facial i paid for for the wife only to find out i was charged £107 for it when i checked my statement....
