I made a booking alongside two other friends and unfortunately due to a train delay we arrived 10 minutes late however, my friend did call to advise. Upon arrival we were greeted with hostility and outright rudeness. My friend was told she couldn't get a gel polish only a regular polish because she was late.
We understood why, however did ask if there was some sort of solution? Surely there is a degree of flexibility? The employee continued to refuse and simply shrugged. It was clear she was annoyed that we were 10 minutes late. After a good 7 minutes of going back and forth (in which time the appointment could have commenced) we were eventually offered an appointment in 2 hours time.
We begrudgingly accepted this appointment as felt there was no other choice but it was clear that we weren't happy. After exiting the store to go and kill some time, my friend got a call and was advised that she could have an earlier appointment at the same time as myself and our third friend.
We were happy and grateful that we came to a solution however, were confused as to why the problem wasn't solution focused from the outset?
The customer service we were given was terrible, in all honesty if she had been friendlier about the situation we probably would have understood.
Aside from that incident, the quality of the treatment was excellent and after things settled down it was an enjoyable visit.
