Gosh...where do I start.. Firstly the staff were very friendly, if I had to rat them as people rather than professionalsthey would score higher but sadly that isnt what Im doing. Daughter booked a treat for us both of a back massage and facial. I can tolerate very little on my skin so when I arrived asked if I could change the facial for a manicure (..a lower value srvice) I was told I would have to pay £10 for a manicure. I would have argued the point but so as not to embarrass my daughter I agreed. There then seemed to be a bit of a mix up as to who was going to do it seeing as I had chosen a different service. Was kept waiting for about ten minutes before the owner stopped with her client and then called the girl to remind her I was there. Was taken to a very cluttered (cold)room and given an average back massage. This seemed to go on for what seemed like a repetitive eternity before being left to get dressed and not told where to go next. During the manicure the therapist, nice as she was didnt know where anything was and was constantly picking up and putting down bottles to see what they were. She made my thumb bleed with the cuticle pliers (no apology) and then used what must have been a very old polish that clumped and streaked.
I was actually glad to get out. Their products were cheap , I did not feel pampered and I wouldnt go back. You really do get what you pay for.
Had a hollywood waxing, it was quick but painful, mainly to the staff's waxing techniques, which can definitely be improved. I felt it I was hurried and not given proper attention.
The women who owns the place, Farah, is lovely. She makes you feel very welcome and at home
My waxing experience was painful (as expected) but very quick so no complaints
Place is clean and comfortable
Would definitely recommend!
