Great salon with a lovely atmosphere and Lila was so great at helping my broken nail and explaining the best ways to take care of my nails. So happy with my acrylics!

First time to this salon and my whole experience was excellent, the technician was friendly welcoming and the finished product was amazing. I will certainly go . So many people have commented on my nails this week.

Really great mani and pedi using shellac. These girls know what they’re doing and even though the salon was busy and I had to wait a long time it was all worth it.
I usually do not leave reviews. I booked a last minute appointment for the 23rd of December, and as expected most places are quite busy. I live in Gorgie so going to Meadowbank took me an hour, making me exactly 10 minutes late. Since I understood that it was on me being late, I waited for an hour at the salon until it was my turn to do my nails. If I had informed them that I was late, they stated that wouldn’t have been the case
I had a booking for acrylics - since it’s what I usually do.
I noticed that they use plastic tips, which is okay, since I don’t expect every nail artist to build the acrylic on. However the acrylic coating on it is quite thinly built, and since they were busy , the shape of my coffin nails is quite off. some edges are way more filed than the other ones. Later on, when I showed a specific picture of a design (half nails with a line, and just a matte finish. Nothing extravagant) I was informed that they wouldn’t be able to do that because I had booked for acrylic nails with simple nail polish- which I understood. They wouldn’t be able to extend that since more customers were expected to come. So I then asked for just a matte finish, however they told me that they would only do that if they applied a design on the nails.
So overall, not the nails I wanted exactly, but I had played a part in this as well to some extent.
Some further notes are that the two ladies would communicate with each other constantly in a foreign language and having minimal communication with the clients, which made me feel that they were not focused on their customers in general.
One last note is that I specifically was asked to choose colours from the shelves with the nail polish, while every other client was seeing a pallet? so I am not entirely sure why this was the case.
The lady there advised me that because of what happened they would offer me designs for free the next time I would visit and offered me a hand cream.
So overall, not extremely pleased, however assuming that because of the holidays,their schedule was hectic.
