As an older woman but someone who works in the Design business I chose Love Hair as I had read positive reviews about their up to date attitude. I was looking forward to my first visit and expecting one of the stylists named on their website - however on arriving I was down for a junior stylist who only works on Saturdays. It became apparent that the young stylist saw my wrinkles and assumed I wanted an old lady hair cut when I had actually gone there for a fashionable style (there are plenty of cheaper 'old lady' hairdressers around if I had wanted that look!). As I sat in the chair it became clear that there had been some miscommunication and neither the junior stylist nor I were at all happy. The day was saved by Jane intervening and having a proper talk with me - a little bit more scissor action and I ended up happy! I will use Love Hair again but will make sure to ask for Jane who is very experienced and really seemed to understand!
Highly recommend this salon and Jane for an amazing colour, does exactly what I want and more every single time! Always leave beyond satisfied not to mention well watered on the odd occasion with a glass of bubbles - nice touch! :)

Went in with not really knowing what I wanted and came out with something I loved and what suits my face and lifestyle. Jane is really good, definitely going back.
Great salon, lovely staff (and dog!) and a really good haircut. Big thumbs up all round.
Jack is fantastic, His experience styling hair shines through and he's amazing at giving advice at new styles. A rare occurence where I've had a hairdresser truly listen to what I've said and suggested tips to suit my face shape etc. I will be re-visiting!
