I apologise for having to leave a review but I have tried to call numerous times.
I came for a gel manicure on Saturday, and the experience was not at all as I had hoped, despite recommendations to come.
The two girls working appeared to have no idea what they were doing, I was cut during the cuticle treatment and bleeding, left with a very sore thumb; the corners etc have been missed on my nails and it just wasn’t at all the treat I had hoped for. The other girl went out to buy chips during my treatment and made the whole tiny space smell, to the point my hoodie smelt like chips when I left 😂
Gel Nails Manicure
I wanted to get a french design gel manicure, as there was no option on Treatwell I booked a full gel manicure. I inquired at the venue and apparently for french design it would be £25 extra on top of what I paid?! In other places it wouldn’t exceed an extra tenner for the service. The girl that did my nails didn’t seem very experienced and took quite a long time even though I don’t think I got a full manicure (as i didn’t get cuticle treatment). In the end I noticed outside that the gel application wasn’t great either. I quite hoped I went for normal polish now so I could get the french design somewhere else... it wasn’t terrible overall but I left feeling quite disappointed as I don’t do my nails very often cause I can’t afford to.
