Went on Saturday morning to get my hair done. Max was amazing at talking through my hair colour to ensure that it was spot on. the colour came out great and im so happy with the final result. really good salon and overall treatment and will definitely be going back!
I had a very good experience at Luca. Emily did my colour and cut which were both fantastic. It was also done quite quickly which is what i needed, being a busy mum...I will be returning for sure
Having just moved to the area I was looking for a local salon and I had a lovely experience at Luca. Max did such a fantastic job, and really listened to what I wanted, something that (in my experience) not all hairdressers do. The massage was fantastic, very relaxing, and I left feeling great. The other girls working in the salon were also very friendly. I'll definitely be going back for more haircuts and some beauty treatments.
I have to say it was a great haircut but attention to customers is a bit lacklustre I had to ask for the same thing 3 times, almost like they werent really listening but was very pleased with the cut and overall good value.
I have been to Luca Salon for a Hollywood and underarm waxing in early December 2012. The outlook of the salon was very nice and professional, both inside and out, and I went to the waxing room where the therapist let me get ready for the treatments I had booked. I had booked for 3pm, but I arrived there at 230pm - the therapist said there was no problem and treated me straight away, so that was very good. The treatment room was nice and warm and there was a relaxing music in the background, and the therapist was chatty and professional. The therapist started the treatment with the Hollywood waxing and she used hot wax, and it was the first time for me having my Hollywood waxing done with it, so I was a bit scared when she explained to me the process, but in the end it was not so painful, even because she managed to "calm me down" and told me it would have not been that painful, and if fact it was not. The only downturn was that the wax cannot be stripped off until it is cold and hard, and given that the room was very warm it took a while to be ready, so I suggested the therapist to buy a fan to speed up the process. While the hot wax was cooling down, she did my underarms with normal wax, and that was nice and easy. I definitely would come back to the Luca Salon for my waxing after my first experience there, because I had a very good impression overall, and also it is near to where I live.
