Antonella, my hairdresser was absolutely lovely, the place was pretty, the hair style i asked for was slightly different to what i received but all in all it was good value for money.
Quite an interesting experience!
I arrived to find that my booking hadn’t been allocated to a hairdresser. I think because I’d booked through treatwell, the salon had just missed it and didn’t allocate staff to it. They managed to get someone in on short notice (I think he was either the manager or owner perhaps) however I get the impression that he had an appointment at 2.30 so my appointment at 2pm suddenly felt extremely rushed. (Id booked expecting a 45 minute appointment).
I was whisked off to get my hair washed before my hairdresser had even arrived. I’m used to going to a salon, meeting your hairdresser so they can see your hair, talk through what you want, offer you a drink etc. None of that! Straight to washing hair. Then whilst my hair is being washed the hairdresser arrives, comes over and quick fires questions at me about what I wanted. “Length off? Layers? How do you want your hair styled?”
It then followed with the quickest cut and blow dry I’ve ever had in my life. The cut was very good but my gosh it wasn’t exactly a relaxing experience. I was constantly on edge that I might get knocked out by the hairdryer! Once the cut and dry was finished the hairdresser then asked me to flip my head down so he could apply product. He wasn’t very clear on what I needed to do and then told me off for “not moving quick enough”.
So although the cut was very good I’d say the customer service was a bit odd. Haven’t decided if I’d go back or not...
Hanah who completed my nails was brilliant and it did last 2 full weeks. Great CND products. Shame about cleanliness. Salon was dirty and smelt of bins. I was very apprehensive and shocked that even the nail clippers was old & dirty, the UV lamp was dirty. So I wouldn't go again.
