Overall, it was very average, with some alarming aspects. My hair was washed with nice organic Aveda products, and the head massage was perfectly adequate. The haircut overall was skilfully done, but there were several alarming moments throughout; the hairdresser took 15 attempts to find my parting, almost cut me in a blunt fringe, and did not understand correctly the length or style that I was asking for. My haircut is fine, and will grow out nicely, but ultimately is not the haircut that I requested. The blow-dry was lacklustre and again, not what I asked for; I did not receive the Keratin treatment.
The hairdresser worked very messily (I left the salon covered in hair, and had to put my clothes in the wash). The majority of the staff speak remarkably poor English, which is terrifying when you are requesting a haircut.
I will definitely not be returning, as the haircut was barely worth the off-peak price, let alone the full £55 for a returning customer.
