The manager sold me a girls night in for myself and 2 of my friends, a birthday celebration.
One of my friends didn’t stay in the hotel, and paid extra for the evening meal, which the manager said she would to pay. The spa was booked 2 months in advance. On the day, my friend was told that she would have to pay for her meal, despite her already paying. The manager, has ignored me with a refund for what my friend has paid. I will be speaking to trading standards, as she didn’t have the meal.
Venue was okay aesthetic wise, very small and awkward not enough room to actually relax. I Felt sauna session was consistently interrupted and cut short. I left a old, grubby dressing gown to put on which I was insulted by.
We arrived half an hour early but due to scheduling problems with other customers our treatment started late. The treatment itself was great. Afterwards we had access to the sauna however couldn’t use it as another person was in there so we were waiting for almost an hour. The lockers did not work properly and all have the same passcode i had no faith that my belongings would be safe. Overall whilst the treatment itself was really good, the service and facilities were poor I will not go back
