I was quite nervous about doing eyelash extensions as this was my first time. I had seen good reviews about the company so thought I would give it a go. I received a warm welcome and actually enjoyed the calmness and relaxation during the treatment. Once the treatment was done the pads were removed from under my eyes and my right eye had been stuck with the glue. This was quite uncomfortable but the lady managed to open it for me. I was given a brush and was told to use oil free make up. The next day I noticed a lot of the lashes were falling off. I only brushed the lashes lightly in the morning. Throughout the day I could feel more lashes falling off as they were landing on my cheek and were starting to poke at my eye when they fell off. I was told 70 lashes were glued on each eye. On the second day I started noticed bigger gaps (this was starting to look awful). I did not wear mascara or eyeliner at all since I had the treatment. Only a bit of eyeshadow as I was scared to damage them in the first place. I decided to message the lady who did them and showed her pictures of the gaps (bear in my this is day 3). She then offered for me to come in for another appointment to fix them which was almost a week away from the first appointment. I appreciated that she was willing to do this so I agreed at first, but then thought about it and was not feeling comfortable going back, as I was worried they would fall off again and wasnt feeling very hopeful. I was very uncomfortable going to work with gaps in my lashes. I could not wear make up and didnt see the point of redoing them. I then asked to cancel the appointment and thanked the lady and asked for some sort of refund as £60.00 for lashes that lasted for 3days is a bit crazy. The lady offered me half the price back (£30.00) and said she would do a refund for me. 1 week later she messaged and said she cannot do the refund as I had booked my appointment through Treatwell which means she does not keep the full amount. I totally undertsand this, but surely this should of been checked before saying a refund will be given? (It was also known I booked through Treatwell on my appointment day). I then replied and said if I cannot get the refund would she be able to just redo them as I dont want to waste £60.00 for nothing. She did not bother to reply. So I messaged again and her response was " Well I just don’t see the point redoing them again, since you said it didn’t last and I did offered to redo them but you declined it." - I did not say they didnt last... I have pictures to prove they didnt! I resppnded to her message and said ive basically paid for lashes that fell off on day 2. Lasted 3 days and have damaged eyelashes from the glue and still no reponse. (Messages were through Whatsapp so I can see they have been read).
