We arrived at the parlour on time after taking a taxi as we did not want to be late. We were there at exactly 5pm. Essentially what he parlour did was accommodate another couple at our 5pm slot as walk ins. We had to wait 30 minutes before they took us, my boyfriend then waited a total of 50 minutes before we were attended to.
This system is wrong because, as we had already paid the full amount for the treatment (wahanda has now changed its system to NOT allow us to apply promotion codes on orders that you pay at the venue) we were unable to cancel once we arrived as the full cost of the payment would be on us, and not on the service providers. This is a loophole in your system that allows providers to take advantage of customers. We have paid in full and arrive on time. Yet we are made to wait for a full hour before we are served which is completely unprofessional. On Saturday we have better things to do then wait around. Had we not paid, we would have walked out and gone to another parlour.
This is completely unfair on your customers and makes me want to stop using your service. I would rather go to a parlour as a walk in and be served immediately, and have the option to leave if the service is not good. The parlour simultaneously had a waxing service out in the open in front of customers getting their nails done which is quite unhygienic and frankly not a pleasure to watch.
Moreover I tried to call wahanda to see if the order could be cancelled on the system for the customer refund. I was informed quite rudely that complaints are only dealt with on email. Again, it seems to me like customers are your last priority which is quite ironic in the service business, would you not agree?
Overall a bad experience with little support. Rushed, bad, unhygenic service. Rudeness from wahanda and the parlour. A joke really.
UPDATE: I sent this email three days ago and called up Wahanda to follow through on it. I was told I would receive a response within 24 hours, it has been 96 hours and NOTHING!
I hope you can make it up to us to retain loyal customers who normally promote your service to our friends and at work.
It was my visit at this salon and I had a shellac manicure done. It was good but my only criticism is that my cuticles weren't done properly . Also the colour collection is very small
very nice & friendly staff, I was welcomed by Jo & Chilly who took care of my mani & pedi. professional and very attentive to details. highly recommended.
