I've had my lashes done from luxelashes quite a few times now and although I would rate my first experience a 10/10, I cannot say the same for my recent experience which dates back to about two weeks. I got a Classic half set and my lashes instantly started coming off. I called Lauren to let her know about the situation and she told me it was because of the weather but that she would be more than happy to touch up my lashes on Saturday.
After that call, I received an email to leave a review which is exactly what I did and I went on to leave 5 stars for three of the rubrics and 4 stars for the service.
the comment that I left was the following:
"Wouldn't get my lashes done from anywhere else"
I called Lauren later on during the day to book the touch up session but she did not pick up so I left a message.
On Saturday, after commuting for an hour for my touch up, her behaviour towards me was very cold and unprofessional. She was upset that I gave her 4 stars stating she was a professional, that my lashes coming out were not her fault per se and that she had a client in and I could come up the next day for the touch up...
A week later I decided to get my lashes done from somewhere else (because all my lashes came of) f where they told me that she had actually used too much glue, applied one false lash to three of my own lashes and that the weather would only be a reason for my lashes falling if it was the summer... (Whilst removing my make up my lashes were causing me pain because of the excess glue and the fact that one lash was attached to three of my own) So much for being professional.
PS: I went on to call Lauren after my lash session to let her know but got no response so decided to edit my review.
All in all, I would only recommend luxelashes if you're able to joyfully give her 5 starts despite any problems with the service provided & spend money on lashes that will last you a week
I'm unable to change the star rating when editing my review but I would give the service ONE STAR
