Highly recommend Lydia! Great advice, haircut and conversation. Thank you!
Great experience, would definitely come again
Lydia was very welcoming. Understood exactly what I wanted and she delivered. She gave advice about hair care she also emailed me products that she recommends for my hair. So happy with the end result. I highly recommend her!
Such a treat. Lydia really listened to what I wanted and gave me some great tips. I left feel terrific! Highly recommend.
Lydia is the best. I discovered her talent a couple of years ago and since then, she is the only one taking care of my hair. Lydia listens to what you want, provides honest recommendations and makes sure you look your best. Plus, she is a joy to be around: I always look forward to my next appointment. Five stars, highly recommended!

About

Lydia Keen Hair Artist
Diane James Hair & Makeup
27 Roman Road
Bethnal Green
London
E2 0HU

Lydia works with professional women over 30 whose hair has lost its strength and vitality over time, and then she makes it feel like it used to.

If you:

  • Have spent more money on your hair over the last five years than you ever did in your 20s and still wonder why it looks and feels worse
  • Have chosen salons with great reviews, followed recommendations from friends, and not gone for the cheapest option, but still think your hair has deteriorated as the months or years have gone by
  • Look back on your 20s wistfully, remembering that although you didn't realise it back then, getting ready for work was a breeze - quick hair straighten, dash of lippy, on with the dress and out the door. Now, you wonder why it's taking ages to make your hair look presentable
  • Have done your research, listened to the opinions of every hairdresser you've ever met (they all say different things, don't they?) and bought whatever has been recommended to you regardless of cost

But you still feel like there's a missing piece, then there probably is.

As you know for yourself, there's a whole raft of opinions out there on what's best for you.

What Lydia has learned in her 15 years of working with professional women enjoy looking good, but who secretly feel unattractive and unprofessional because their hair has lost its beauty over time, is that there are just 3 core fundamentals to get right:

Mindset | Monopolize | Maintain

Having worked with scores of ambitious, intelligent and savvy women who have battled with these issues and gotten great results, Lydia believes these 3 fundamentals are the flatpak time-machine; in the right hands and with the right screw driver, the condition of your hair can go back in time, but your style will go forward, for the woman you are today.

If you are an ambitious, driven professional who enjoys looking good and you are ready to commit to a programme of transformation, you are welcome to book. Bring your laptop at lunchtime or a ‘work-from-home’ day (chargers available), or come early before work on a Friday, after work on Thursdays for a glass of wine, or on a Saturday.

Lydia works from within the Diane James Hair & Make Up Salon, just 3 minutes' walk from Bethnal Green Station, which is on the central line. Bethnal Green is just one stop east from Liverpool Street station and can be reached from there in just 5 minutes on the underground. The journey from Bank takes just 7 minutes. It is also a short (10 minute) bus ride from Shoreditch.
