The story of my previous haircuts reads like a horror film: too much volume, or chopped all off (in a poor attempt to remove volume), or even the infamous triangle-shaped cut. That said, I have had some good haircuts before, always with South American hair dresses (who always seemed to be the only ones that could handle MAD CURLY hair). Lydia puts them all to shame. She gave me what is by far the BEST haircut EVER! I couldn't believe it when I walked out: my hair was STILL LONG (she listened!! hairdressers always tend to ignore my plea for long locks), but it felt lighter, bouncier, with the ringlets more perfectly shaped, but absolutely no triangle-shape, and no volume issues (a miracle)!! Two weeks later and the cut still looks fab, so you can be sure I'm not intoxicated by hairspray fumes as I write this. I won't be going to anyone but Lydia for as long as I'm living in London. Don't think about it just go, RUN, to get your hair saved by Lydia's talented hands. As if all that weren't enough: she's a simply lovely person who's always good for a chat and the biscuits she serves with the tea she'll happily make you are delicious.

I can not recommend Lydia enough. The vibe of the salon was nice a relaxed, the service from beginning to end was lovely. And if I am honest this is the best hair cut I have had in long time, Lydia is very knowledgeable, and considerate when cutting your ensuring that she didn't cut too much off in my case. Her blow drys were the best ever, I will be booking in for one very soon. Thank you Lydia xx

Lydia exactly knows how to work with my hair. She knows which way the waves will turn and she gave me such simple but amazing styling tips that I can now have great looking hair every day. Definitely found my hair dresser in London!!
