I've got quite thick wavy hair, which is quite difficult to cut and style. I've changed hairdressers several times because I was never satisfied with the standard haircuts they gave me. After a friend recommended Lydia, I can honestly say that I won't be changing again. She recommended a style for me, which I was slightly apprehensive about at first, but I absolutely love it now. She's highly professional and meticulous. She's also great to be around and highly personable and recommends good products. Definitely recommend her.
I have thick frizzy hair which I used to have to straighten after each wash to keep it manageable. I've also had a lot of bad experiences with hairdressers in the past who've not worked with my hair type and have left me with mushroom clouds and mullets! Lydia was extremely knowledgeable about the Do's and Don't's of my hair type and gave me a cut which lessened the weight without making it puff out. She then gave me a blow dry that left me with soft natural waves - something I never thought was possible without curlers and a heck of a lot of product. Best of all, she gave advice throughout my session on how I could recreate the soft, salon look at home. With a bit of practice I'm glad to say I'm improving and can now enjoy waves without the frizz. I highly recommend Lydia, not only for the immediate results but also for the low-maintenance styles you get to enjoy between sessions.
Lydia is a really great hairdresser! I decided to go for quite a bold change in my cut as well as highlights for the first time - she was really helpful in recommending shapes, colours etc. The end result is probably my favourite look ever! She takes her time and I could tell she takes pride in the looks! Plus I really enjoy hearing her stories and latest adventures :) highly recommended!!
Lydia had a lovely manner and was really thorough in her consultation. Her hairdressing skills are very good and she even managed to blow dry my hair into something that resembled sleek, a word that would rarely, if ever, used to describe my fluffy mane. I am very pleased to have found her and intend to be a regular customer from now on.
Lydia was amazing...totally deserves her high reviews. The ombre is exactly what I wanted and it feels so nice to have a hair "style" again!
