My gel manicure looks great and was done nice and quickly by Mike. No frills salon but just want I was after for a swift lunch break treatment.

I wasn't familiar with the process for acrylic nails and it wasn't really explained to me when I arrived, meaning I ended up with nails that I didn't really originally want. That said the style I got has grown on me, and they were certainly applied professionally, looked good and got lots of compliments from people.

I felt the whole process was so rushed! When putting my nails under the light at each stage to dry the under coat, the vanish and the top coat my nails were under for a maximum of a few seconds before he switched my hands round to paint the next one. I thought after that they looked fine so didn’t think anything of it but I’ve now had my nails painted for a week and they’re already chipping!! Shellac usually last for at least 3 weeks for me. Disappointed.
