Miserable. Won’t be returning. Had manicure booked for 5:45 and earlier on in day had called to add on brow and lash tiny. Lady on reception had said that was no problem and didn’t mention the time. I turned up 10minutes early for my appointment. Lady on reception was on phone didn’t acknowledge me and being quite obnoxious to person on phone. Therapist approached me and said can I help. I said about my appointment and she said I was supposed to be there at 5. I showed her my booking confirmation of 5:45 and she tried to look at screen but couldn’t. Once lady on phone came off the phone she told me I was late and I couldn’t have either appointment. I showed her my booking confirmation and she said it didn’t matter because that was on her screen but there was a cancellation and I could have one of the appointments as the therapist was free for an hour (why not able to do both in that time I’m unsure as my manicure took 20mins and tint is 15max but there we go). She made out it was my fault that the salon diary and Treatwell diary were not in sync. At no point was I made to feel welcome or offered a drink like every other client who walked in whilst I was there. I asked my therapist if the lady normally spoke to people that way and she said I’m sorry you felt that way, once again pushing the blame on me. The therapist eventually apologised for the mix up at the end of my manicure but that was the first and only apology I received there. Was horrified to see lady on phone actually a stylist. I have been to the salon before and they were nice. However this encounter has firmly put me off ever attending again.
The salon is great and they offer many different treatments so is really convenient. My colour was lovely but I wish that the hairdresser would have come to me to show me the colour palette before they mixed it together as I would have like to have seen what options they had and would have gone with a different variation of the colour I got. Staff is lovely though and easy to get to.
