My experience was a very mixed one. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the salon is beautiful but unfortunately the treatment didn't go so well.
Having booked (and paid the price) for a BIAB manicure I didn't get what I was expecting. None of the products used were The Gel Bottle brand.
On top of this, the method used to 'prep' my nails was really aggressive. They used a really powerful drill to remove my cuticles, which was quite painful. I had to stop and explain it was sore but was told "if you do it a few times it won't hurt".
As a result of such aggressive drilling, I've been left with cuts, bleeding and now infected nail beds. At least 6 of my nails have been damaged in some way and washing my hands is really sore.
The nails admittedly look good (if you ignore the inflamed skin) but definitely not worth this level of discomfort.
I think the salon is beautifully done but the method for nails is quick and rough. Not quite what I was hoping for.
