Wasn’t asked really how I wanted my hair cut. When I came in 2 staff members just looked at me, one staff member sat with his feet on the chair I was about to sit in. Absolutely no conversation. It was my birthday and wanted to feel a bit pampered. After not talking to me and washing my hair in silence (not even asking if the really hot water was okay) I was ushered to a seat where again no conversation till the gentleman was about to cut my hair. Which he did in complete silence, which left me feeling awkward. He then roughdried my hair. Not blow dry. I looked so much worse on the way out, and it’s the quickest hair appointment I’ve ever had. I was in and out in under 25 mins. I actually went home feeling upset and sore, the shampoo they use stung my eyes it smelt of really strong chemicals and was very unpleasant. I had to re do my hair (which I didn’t have time for) it’s all a learning curve. I would not go back, nor would I ever recommend to a friend. They massively need to engage with customers better and make them feel at ease. They need to change the shampoo (it honestly smells horrible and it’s clearly so cheap) and Thirdly, actually consult with customer what they would like. Also it said BLOW DRY not rough dry with hand and on a really high heat! Then slap some unpleasant oil in at the end (for which I did not want on my hair)
