Fantastic experience at Magi. Very professional staff, quick service and great results for a price well below what I had been paying previously. Will definitely visit again.
When I first arrived, the staff were surprised to hear that I had an appointment at all. They asked me to come back in an hour, which I was happy to agree to as I had free time.
When I returned, the tan that I was given turned my entire body green within an hour. I had done my research - I was fully exfoliated, had no residual products on my skin and used the barrier cream in the right places. This wasn’t patchy green - my entire body was green. The problem wasn’t with me, but the tan itself; green indicates expired tan (be that from age or poor storage). I had to scrub the entire tan off, and contacted Treatwell about my experience.
Treatwell was attentive in responding me, but the salon took weeks to respond to them. Eventually I was offered another tan for free, but refused a refund. Treatwell offered me a discount code as an apology. For reasons I’m sure you’ll understand, I have no desire to return to a salon that covered my body with an expired product. I am extremely disappointed that the salon did not offer a refund, even when I had provided pictures of the swamp-green colour that they had turned my body.
