The ladies at reception were friendly and I was accepted on time, offered coffee by a friendly chatty stafff member who took me to choose the colour. The beautician that did my treatment was the opposite I am afraid not very interactive at times and I had to remind her that I was booked in for luxury mani pedi. After this she used a scrub but not an intensive pedicure at all. No cream massage applied and the scrubbing was very basic. I was sat in a massage chair but was not explained if it had massage functions. I later noticed that she cut too much of my cuticles on toe. Later we moved onto manicure and again no scrub , massage was done. She did not do a good job of cutting back cuticles and she bled my thumb which I noticed no apology at all. It was hurting the whole day. When it came to applying nail varnish it was done too thick so not set on time. So I knocked it and most of the nails in right got spoilt. The beautician was not too empathic with me and said abruptly that I asked you if you wanted anything from your bag.
So she set to work again but I was so past annoyed by this stage and upset I asked her to do one coat. No apology, empathy from her end at all.
Awful experience but luckily when I got home one of the beauty techinicians had called and messaged me apologising on behalf of the beautician in question. They have honoured to give me same treatment with another beautician. Normally I would not accept but this ladies customer care approach has made me to decide to give them another go. Once I have that treatment can give an up to date review. Based on Saturdays experience I would not book again with the beautician I had that did the treatments on me.
