I booked to have my hair cut specifically asking for Nick but when I arrived I was told he was indefinitely away on sick leave. I thought I should have been warned and given a choice of whether to go through with my appointment and if yes who I would like to cut my hair. I didn't appreciate being handed over to an obvious temporary who hardly spoke any English. That may be why she didn't even ask what I wanted done before trying to start washing my hair - I had to insist on telling her.
