Nice brows and friendly therapist but felt like a makeshift set up, not what you expect for the price!
The chair is in a corner, hidden by a cheap room divider, and it all feels like a cheap beauty salon which usually costs £5 for brow thread. This place costs £15.
My brows looked good after, but I had to direct the therapist. Firstly, she didn't ask me how I wanted my brows up front, and I had to interrupt to explain what I wanted. She didn't brush my brows before starting so at the end I asked for a brow brush to check everything was right, and as expected, a few strays needed fixing. End result was good but at that price point, they should really be more proactive on the customer service. Small details can go a long way.
Unfortunately if I compare to my experience at Shavata in House of Fraser, which is a similar price, Shavata actually felt like it was worth the money I paid (and it wasnt cheap)
Maya was really friendly, took her time to listen to what I wanted to achieve, and I always appreciate that the team at Malika always apply a soothing cream afterwards, and double check for stray missed hairs. She also gave me some good advice to improve my eyebrow shape over time.
Malika may not be the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for.
